I’ve called upon Rob’s services on a few occasions now. Self-tapes, voice over recordings and as a reader. Not only does he have a high quality technical set-up but with his background as an actor, Rob has a keen artistic eye and offers great advice on all fronts.

I have used Mill Road Studio numerous times to record self-tapes this year. The studio set up is excellent and Rob’s eye for detail, tips and hints to improve the scene and skill as a reader has helped to secure me many recalls on the back of the tapes I’ve recorded there.   The VoiceOver studio is fully equipped and sound-proof and the countryside location means there is little to no noise pollution.  Aside from the excellent facilities, Rob’s attention to detail and sound knowledge as an Actor/Director is invaluable.  Wholeheartedly recommend.

We’ve used Rob’s services for both self-tape advice and showreel editing and have always been extremely impressed with the results. He has an excellent understanding of what works on camera and a real eye for detail. His showreel editing is of a very high standard, with great precision in the choice and placement of clips, resulting in a professional and engaging finished reel.

I had recent need for a voice-over artist as part of a series of promotional videos being produced.  I was aware of Rob’s experienced and professional approach as an artist, but was really impressed by the quality of the technical facilities available in his beautiful studio, complete with rolling farmland vista!  His attention to detail and receptiveness during recording made the experience an absolute pleasure.
